OK, Feej, you're gonna love this one...
My mother was watching The Concert In Central Park by that wonderful duo Simon & Garfunkel circa '81-'82, and it panned to the lead guitarist...
I dunno, were there any other six-foot-three large blond guys with curly hair in that era hangin' around to play for our friend Artie and his slightly more musically literate compatriot not-Sir Paul?
The only things that stops me from saying for sure it was Taylor are as follows:
1) My guess is Taylor was in pretty deep or eating his way out (that sounds very wrong) at the time, and wasn't that svelt.
2) The guy in question looked like he was having too good a time playing his solo.
-tSYX --- Seemed about, a hun'red years ago... |

Young and Savage
You remain misinformed about many things relating to Mick Taylor.
Most notably his physical statistics
He IS NOT CLOSE to 6 foot 3" in stature!!!
Could I interest you in a written volume with some accurate information??

Please! Tell me - how tall was he? He was certainly taller than the other Stones. I must keep misremembering that Jagger quote that he gave out when Taylor left.
And was that him or what?

Y & S,
I met him in Jan 2000, I have a picture with him that I'd have to dig out.
I'm 6'2", and he's no more than 5'9" in 'plastic boots'!
I'll have to find the pic and Email it to you.
I don't have a copy of the S&G Concert in the Park.
