I am also not interested in Patti's political messages. They are often quite embarassing. But she still rocks and the same can't be said of the Stones. Admit it Josh!

I have not listened to enough of her music to judge..but yes, the Stones do not rock at times.

At times? The last time was many years ago!
I admit one thing: Patti's cover of Gimme Shelter (live) is not very good. She should stick to her own songs.

And you should stick to Europop boards. Things don't always go like they should, Bubbaleh.

glencar I love when some of these Europop guys get all huffy & puffy. But this one has reached the point of boredom for all except him. And that's when you quit. Now he'll be all "Wait! Wait" I have something else to say!" but I really have to get to Costco & megapurchase...

thanks Swedish Erik....unfortunately, looks like you get the cheapo stage

as long as we get cheapo prices and good shows, they can play on a tin stage for all I care. The visuals are at the low end of my priorities for a concert

So you are "europop" when you love Patti Smith? Quite interesting, old fool!

glencar What does cheapo mean? Will it be that South american thing? I liked that, actually.

A simple request to both of you to take your pissing contest elsewhere instead of hijacking this thread with it. Clear enough?

Gazza This story reports a possible show in Budva,Montenegro, but possibly more significantly states that the tour will start in Barcelona on Saturday May 27th (ironically, the same date that the tour was supposed to begin in Madrid last year)

http://www.visit-montenegro.com/article910.htm (thanks to Sandy Beach on IORR for the link)

FC Espanol - who play at the Olympic Stadium - are away from home that weekend, so the stadium is free that day.
