HAGGARD HITS THE ROAD WITH DYLAN AGAIN
Country legend MERLE HAGGARD is heading out on tour with BOB DYLAN again, a year after the duo teamed up for dates. Haggard and his band THE STRANGERS will join Dylan for a 15 city tour, which will begin on 7 April (06) - the day after the country crooner's 69th birthday - in Las Vegas, Nevada. Haggard recently revealed he can never retire because he fears the day he gives up touring will be the beginning of the end of his life.

Sorry .... I guess this is old news.
Well ...consider it a reminder I guess. Maybe someone missed it.

I saw Haggard a few years ago in a small intimate setting, great songwriter and a good show. Love his mentality on planning to never quit touring, also reminds me of another certain rock band I quite like. |

Yes the tour starts in Reno April 1st but Merle won't join Bob 'til they make it to Vegas.
I have my fingers crossed to see them either in AZ and NM or Kansas City.
Chris and I just found out that we are moving to CO the end of next week. Egads!
peace over and out,
MM

I'm going to be at the Albuquerque show! Saw them when they shared shows last year at the Pantages in LA. Great combination! Haggard's band is awesome. |

Haggard does have an awesome backing band, if he still has the same lead guitar player he did a couple of years ago, expect a really good show. This would be a great pairing to see, the columbus show a couple years back was just Haggard. |

I'm planning to make this show too. Fingers are crossed on getting tickets.
We caught the tour last year in Chicago for 3 nights of 5. Then hit one more show in Detroit. I can't wait to see Bob again. :-) |
