I hate winter. I'm glad it's over. Maine has got to have some of the worse weather on Earth. This time of year the Sun's energy almost drives me mad with joy. I'm sure some others must feel the same way. I just want to go to camp, drink beer, blast the Stones and whoever else, get high, fish, watch baseball a little, hit the beach, chase chicks, go to the ocean.... etc. Oh and drink more beer. |

It can't come fast enough for me. Yesterday, we got 5 inches of snow and today its only gonna be 34 for a high and there's ice everywhere still. The worst winter storm for us happened the first full day of spring, go figure!! |

Oh yes, boys and girls, another silly, awful, boring, dull and cold winter is OVER AND DONE WITH! I can't begin to tell you how thrilled this makes me feel. I can't take another single drop of rain.
My summer plans include first and foremost the Stones returning to my homeland after 8 whole years - I was a whole different person eight years ago! So this is the highlight to start with.
And then I dream of wonderful holidays, cause I missed those last year with my daddy being in hospital. Lots of intoxicating sun, endless hours lying at the beach with people I truly love next to me, swimming and eating fruit. Making sure my cats are safe while I'm away, health for all, one beautiful seashore and the love of a very particular certain someone and that's it!
That's all it takes to keep me happy this summer. 
Hope we're all going to have a fabulous summertime. It's got to be, this time.
And I hope it's gonna be a long, hot summer
And a lotta love will be burnin' bright
And perhaps, after all this time, I can afford you baby.
