How can I ensure the best chance of scoring a good seat for the o2 show,as every time I've tried to buy on the day of sale I've got crap tickets !
When / why should I open a new platimum membership ?
Should I search in "best available" or a certain section of tickets ?
What experiences have others had,as I have almost always regretted buying afterwards.Of the last 8 shows I've been to ,for 5 of them I've sold my tickets (at a loss) and bought better nearer or on the date, with Cardiff been the last, 5 mins before they came on !
I think o2 is going to be a hard ticket

London will be the hardest ticket by a mile, and is therefore probably the only stop on the entire tour where a presale would be worth it.
Always click "best available" as (in theory) there should be £60 tickets in the front ten rows. If you cant get them, have your price limit and stick to it. Its a bit of a con really because TM will often release mediocre but overpriced seats (eg £150 tiered seats) in order to trick people into panic-buying them thinking they'll miss out entirely if they dont. They often hold back some of the better seats for a few minutes. Its pot luck when they do this, but its worth remembering. Its also an added problem in that you dont know what proportion of the seats available are in each price range. You can bet that for a show like this, a lot of them will be in the most expensive category. They do the same thing in places like New York and LA etc.
$100 is about £55, so if youre getting 4 tickets on a presale, the way to do it is to split the cost of the membership with 3 friends. If theyre getting a seat in the first ten rows to see the Stones for £60, they'll hardly have much cause for complaint at paying an extra £13 or so. If they dont, you'll find plenty of takers who will.
I'll bet my house though that if and when this show sells out, they'll add at least one more.
