I did not care at all for that press conference..Mick acted very old and stale.

It doesn't help that these things are somewhat lame and unnecessary in this day and age.

It was really bad..some overhyped guy asking Mick questions from the internet and Mick acting like he couldn't care less...in all candor, I don't think they could care less ab out the fans...the shows are simply a means to fund their lifestyles, and the lack of any real care for the fans, the products, or each other is readily apparent to all but the biggest Stones apologists..

Then why must gross be protected?

jb Because that's quite frankly , all we have had to brag about the past 2 decades. They are still , by and large, a huge draw. The fact that they can generate the numbers they do, without a hit single/album in 25 yrs is a testament to their greatness....Again, I really enjoyed the shows I saw this tour, but stepping aside a bit from being a life long fan, it angers me to see how little they care....

I am not sure it's much to brag about. When I post the boxscores to general music groups, many act disgusted!

I continue to suffer from flank pain, chronic IBS, benign fasciculation, and other stress related conditions. This includes rectal irritation, burning sensations upon urination, swollen glands, loose skin, and a very painful bile duct. Lately, this stress has caused scalp twitching, which I fear is a symptom of a major, terminal ailment.

CraigP I think Keith is most likely to care about fans.
For Mick, it's obvious that he's always in need to "work" and touring is, indeed, work! Esp. for near-elderly.

Without the band being active over time, they'd go nuts because The Stones have been their lives since they were my frickin' age!

They don't need the money.

Don't think so. If they could have made a date there, it would have been in this initial list, is my guess.

I think the late planning is also the cause of Nijmegen's show, they probably couldn't get a stadium. That, or that miserable field was a lot cheaper to rent. Probably the latter.
