greetings all
classic albums live is performing exile
note for note
cut for cut
at the phoenix concert theatre in toronto
on april 19
it's our 4 year anniversary
and we're not pulling any punches
i put together a big band - horn section, percussion etc.
and we're deep into the album
it's amazing how complex the arrangements actually get
we need at least 3 guitars to pull this one off properly
and mick's harp playing is intense
just getting the beginning of 'stop breaking down' is a feat
mick is an absolute monster on the harp
anyway
would love to see some real music lovers at the show
we're throwing our hearts into this one big time

Wasnt this on before? And wasnt it a sham?
Just asking. |

Lazy Bones |
Nope. Craig and company are terrific. Saw them do Exile a few years back at the Phoenix. Blows my mind that the Stones and Dylan both performed on that little stage!
Hi, Craig. Hope you're well.... |

thanks lazy bones
appreciate that
saw both dylan and the stones shows at the phoenix
we actually found one of ronnie's wah pedals backstage
we wanted to keep it but ended up returning it to their camp
we know how particular gear can be to a player
please don't confuse classic albums live with other tributes
or shows that feature several bands doing one album
we're based out of toronto
and perform classic albums like a recital
we go to extreme detail to get things right
do i sound defensive? |
