Mel Belli In my neverending quest to find the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame "Gimme Shelter" jam -- I've become Captain Ahab at this point -- I found this Blushing Brides rendition. Not bad at all:

72Tele I saw them at Morrisville College in 1979. A few years before I saw the real boys live for the first time. I think I got high with the Keith dude out in back of the hall. He had on a leapord print shirt. I remember feeling embarrased for him.

Mr Jimmy it brings back a flood of highschool memories from the summer of 1980 when a bunch of us took in a few shows by the blushing brides. one of my friends ended up in a hotel room with one of the guys (i'll protect his identity) and he started rambling on and on about having sex with goats and other similar sized farm animals. although she was really high, she managed to run from the room... or so she claims.

Actually, the one time I saw them, in 2002, the singer was all buffed up. As they were doing "Midnight Rambler" he made a point of showing off the bod, and it was ... odd.
