The Dave Clark 5 should have been in, instead of that rap crap, what fucking hits did Grandmaster Flash ever had? can you name one? the lead singer, of The DC5, Mike Smith, sang with a real soulful voice, if you listen to "You Got what it takes" he sounds like a black/Motown singer, in the 60's they were a huge group, & had all kinds of hits.

Get Smith the hell out..she has no reason to be inducted as she is limited to a small, cult like following. No one with any real credibility in the music business will support her as an inductee. This is a travesty and she needs to tossed asap.

so you're saying Bruce Springsteen has no credibility? Keith Richards has no credibility? Lou Reed has no credibility? Joey Ramone has no credibility? Bob Dylan has no credibility?
do you know that Patti Smith is widely considered to be one of the top artists of all-time? RS ranked her in the Top 50

rolling stone poll means shit, you now show your ignorance by using this as a standard
Patti Smith is a average artist at best, the hall is joke
their dismissal of great hard rock bands shows how out of touch they are, Patti Smith in over the following is a hell of a joke...
Deep Purple
Kiss
Judas Priest
Dio
the hall is soft like gay boy Jann Wenner

I guess you didn't find them on your critics poll at rolling stone
