Oh C'mon...........Pdog. Fat, skinny, quitter, etc..the man has earned the respect of all Stones fans for his amazing work with them from 68-74. I love ronnie, and yes, he is a better fit, but no one played like MT durin g those golden years...(I know you listen to Brussels Affair, Leeds, Philly Special, Perth, Welcome to New York, etc) and kvelt over his leads!!! |

I was at that show in Kansas City in '81.
He was great. There is a very funny quote by
Ronnie in "According to the Rolling Stones".
He says, "There was one moment on tour when
Mick Taylor came and played with us on a show;
but he was so loud-I don't know if it was out of
nerves or what--that Keith was about to ring
his neck. I had to try and block Keith's path a
few times during the songs. He was going, 'I'm
going to kill him.' I don't know how the two of
them managed to make it work as long as they did."
When you listen to the SB recording, Mick Taylor's
guitar is not too loud, and I don't remember it
being mixed too loud that night. But it was a
very long time ago.....

I shall never drink Bud....I prefer Miller products for domestic beer and prefer a good IPA to mostly anything else imported |
