Topic: McCartney Ticket Prices Return to archive
03-06-02 02:10 PM
Larry Dallas I saw that McCartney tix are $350 high end in Vegas and $250 high end everywhere else. Since the Stones basically did those prices last time, what do you guys think we're looking at this fall?
03-06-02 04:32 PM
TT Will be similar in arenas, stadiums up to 70 bucks, theatres (HAHAHA)will not take place (in my opinion).

Gazza We're looking at way too expensive for my pocket, thats what!

They'll charge as much as they think they can get away with for the arena shows as usual, but North America will be the only place where people will pay an average of $150 plus to see a 2 hour rock concert in a 20,000 seater arena (which ISNT an 'intimate' setting no matter what way they tried to dress it up in 1999). probably about a third of that for arena shows in Europe.

TomL Pick and choose wisely this tour ladies and gentlemen.

Angiegirl Sort of glad that I'm in Europe for that matter, but it's ABSURD. If I see what kind of prices are being charged for 'smaller' bands already (also here in Holland), I'm terrified. I have a very small income and it makes me sad and mad. But there you have it, take it or leave it is the deal right. Sigh.
