Last night on The Fox news channel they reported that The Rolling Stones' promoters are "going before the board" to confirm 2 Rolling Stones shows there in late August (I forget which dates (Maybe the 26th & 28th).
I know there is already a rumor-like thread about it but Fox News is big.
I can't F*in wait. Fenway Park is incredible! The historical landmark, the view inside of it, the openness, warm weather, the public hysteria, AND it's a couple train stops from me! I'll be bumming around even at all of the sounchecks. I hope it turns out.
If it's another Boston opener who cares... I saw the Licks at the Fleetcenter and one the following month. I almost shed a tear at the end of the Four Flicks documentary where it shows Keith bust out in S.F.M. and then Mick come out... I could almost see myself and my group in the crowd.
I'm so hopeful and excited... I get to take my girl for her first (long anticipated) Stones show.
The closest to she and I being at a Stones show was at the Imax theater where she was sold.

i just think it's strange that the guys from Fox News are the first to report this big news, it should have been a secret. the stones had to be the first to anounce this at a pressconference, you know. |

My guess is that The Stones would open up the tour in the middle of the United States this time ------Say .............. Oh , I don't know !!! .................. Perhaps the PCenter in Denver or The QWEST Center in Omaha ...You Be the Judge !!!!

Is that Bizarro-Fox you're talking about? Because in my world, if they reported the Stones are definitely opening at Fenway, there's a good chance that they've broken up. |
