There's no cure, it's a life long thing, treatable with viligance and relative little work compared to what you deal with being a tottally fucked up all the time...
Addiction is an equal oppurtunity disease, that's for certain...
Treatment is great, but if homeboy s like me, he needs AA... You can spend $10,000 dollars on a 30 day rehab, only in the end to find out AA is for free, and that's where the rehab tells you to go when you leave there.

Right on! you said $10,000, try $20,000 in Bellwood in Toronto, $40,000 for Dual addictions, & A.A., is like, you said free, & you end up going there anyway, & Eddie has got a Meth addiction, not just alcohol.

Alcoholism or addiction, it's the same thing...
Dual addiction is the most retarded term ever created by the recovery for profit community... I'm sure there's plenty of people dedicated to one substance, but it doesn't matter...
The obseesion to use and the compulsion to continue using despite the negative consequences... it could be anything, from sex, money, food drugs... it don't matter...
There's alot cliches ect... They're cliches b/c they usually are true... Be it the junkie on the corner or the celebrity on TV, one thing is true, it kills people...

Is he broke? The only people that do meth are those that can't afford coke. I think anyone would rather do coke than meth. But that's just me. I like coke. Coke is awesome. If blow was cheaper, maybe there wouldn't be so many meth addicts. If I could make cocaine in my garage, I'd be high right now.
