Jumping Jack Yes, the bar was low and there was little left of the original bands except the lead guitar, but the hired guns were quite good and did rock.

Dead from the shoulders up, LOL?

It's understandable. Comparing everyting to the Perfection that is the Rolling Stones skews ones normal objectivity.

Does Genesis really think they can fill stadiums in the U.S. while charging $55-$240 per ticket? They'll be embarrased when some of their shows have less fans than would fill an arena, much less a stadium!

did Cohl put them up to this...?

Maybe theres the appeal to some that they havent toured for so long (a la The Police)

However, if a certain other band doesnt hurry the fuck up and put tickets on sale for shows that are due to begin in under three months, they may well be faced with the same embarrassing scenario on this side of the pond.

It's the opposite, I like it messy and unpredictable! Hence The Rolling Stones...
Rush plays to perfection, and that's why they suck!

Highwire Rob But Seriously, I thought I heard a few years back that Collins claimed he was going deaf and it was getting worse?

[I know that a joke about being able to pull benjamins out of the ears is coming up...]

I have been told numerous times that Pug is very sensitive and does not like it when we mock his favorite bands

Yo, dawg, Randy Jackson played bass for Journey!

Dan Genesis did a full stadium tour in 1992 but I don't really see that kind of demand now. I don't even know anyone who likes them (except for a few Peter Gabriel era fans).

glencar I'm playing some Donnie Hathaway youtube videos right now. He was better than Stevie Wonder!

Jumping Jack The Genesis website crashed during the presale today and has been down for hours. Yes, it is Cohl and the same people doing The Who's website.

Either the traffic was very high or Ultrastar botched things up again. Yesterday's webcast tour announcemnt didn't work either.

HUMILIATION

Jumping Jack There is a price that must be paid for spring break Sat-Tue in Tampa drinking with my fellow Wholigans and probably making a fool of myself. It is a price I was willing to pay. A bargain, the best I every had!

Jumping Jack "UPDATE
We were knocked offline this morning by an automated attack from ticket broker scripts. We have been working all day to get the site stabilized and coordinate a way to get you ticket codes so you can access presales.

We will have a significant update, including some idea for you of how many people were able to access the presales for you and when they will be back up, very shortly.

Please standby while we work on this.

Please be aware that the fan club presale tickets are a separate hold from those tickets being made available by American Express.

If the American Express presale sells out, Amex card holders will not be able to access our protected fan club ticket allotment (unless they are Premium Members of course). The tickets we hold are still being held for exclusive members-only presales."

Saint Sway there should be some rules established or some kind of time limit set for how long bands must wait before cashing in on the big reunion tour

like... say... they should have at least one solo members "Bluegrass" or porno album already under their belt... or the bands leader should be so far whacked out on horse glue that he hires his teenage kid to play in the band.

From this point forth, no more reunions allowed until that criteria is met!!

otherwise whats the fucking point???
