I just don't think our kids are going to turn out bad if they happen to see a tit or hear the f word ...In fact, they seem to get most of the stuff from their peers in school. We started a policy of no cursing in the house and if you slip up, it cost you a dollar...At years end, we will use the money for something fun. I think it's the utmost in hypocrisy when republicans tell us they are against big government, yet, want the government to impose it's standards of morality on us....It goes against everything these "freedom" loving republicans supposedly stand for. And is it only me, or is Alan Colmes the worst possible choice as a "liberal" to go up against Sean Hannity?

jb as stated yesterday this passed committe 45-1 which had an equal amount of Dems

It is not a Republican issue

Due to your blatant insolence I am donating huge amounts to the PLO

You know I agree with you sometimes Tele, but this censorship thing really bothers me. The politicians, on both sides, are simply playing politics in an election year. See ya at the Polo Club.

Ten Thousand Motels For some reason people, including myself, get upset when their entertainment is censored. But I think where the rubber hits the road is when one's "political opponents" get censored in some from or another. What does one do then?

corgi37 As much as i love them, Yanks can be so funny. They blow a gasket over a chocolate covered bosom (with nifty nipple attachment), yet have the largest porn industry in the world. Indeed, have a porn star run for Governer of California! I remember reading just after that, that an ad for nappies was banned as it showed a babies bum. For God's sake! I thought all those righ-wing christian fools like Falwell vanished a decade ago. Over here, hell, in most of the world, the body is no big deal. We have nude beaches everywhere, every (yes, every) beach is now topless, we've had full frontal nudity on t.v. since the mid 70's. Whats the big deal? A kid sees a chicks tit for 1/2 a second. Wow, how shocking. But, that same kid can go out and get a gun and blow his school mates to bits, or try to stab his teacher. If anything, you Yanks (lovely people and i adore you all) need more tits on t.v. As for Howard Stern, he's obvisously hardly known here in Oz, but he seems harmless enough. Very 1989, but so be it. What i want to know is, does all this censoring/banning hoopla go both ways, and do dickwads like MANCOW, who i see on Foxnews over here on cable, get to do or say what they want?

Do you mean Arnie S.? But the porn industry does provide good payng jobs. I'm glad to see we're exporting Mancow. I'd much rather watch Steve Irwin though.

Sir Stonesalot No, he wasn't talking about the Governator.

Actually there were at least 2 porn stars running for Guv...Mary Carey and Angelique.

Mary has been on the Stern show several times.
