Lindzy1 Were the Stones paid for this concert, or was it a freebie for Robin Hood Foundation?

chevysales interesting question... and i would bet it didn't cost the stones a dime to do this... all their expenses paid... doubt they cashed a check though

SweetVirginia Harvey Weinstein introduced them and said they played for free (although I'm sure expenses were covered by the organization.)

He also announced that $11 million was raised for Robin Hood, but that a moment before going on the Stones made their own "siginificant donation" to RH.
