Townshend said a few days ago when they announced the tour that this is their first ever actual world tour - they'd never done one before because they didnt want to be away from their families for too long
he said it would last about 18 months - but that they might not do another. |

he didnt say it like that, though - basically a case of "we may not do another one". He's acknowledging that the Who have not really been a proper band for many years and that they're a band who basically get together and play charity gigs
His comments were more a recognition that they're getting on a bit and the tour will take a long time to complete. |

Well that makes a lot more sense then. I am glad their doing a proper tour this time, it will make it a lot easier to see them, instead of them just do a few shows here and there. |

I believe Pete mentioned the possibility of touring South America in 2007 so Mexico is probably a safe bet next spring / summer .
