Mick Taylor's Blues Summitwith friends Mitch Mitchell, Terry Reid, Colin Allen and others
Monday 5 May 2008, 7.30pm

Mick Taylor's Blues Summit brings together several legendary artists for the first time. Mick Taylor, stellar guitarist with John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan and many others, is joined by friends from the UK and the USA. Mitch Mitchell changed the nature of rock drumming with the Jimi Hendrix Experience. Terry Reid the vocalist, nicknamed Superlungs, was a cult figure in the 1960s and early 1970s and is most famous for turning down the vocalist role in both Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple. Colin Allen has been drummer with the Bluesbreakers, Stone the Crows, Bob Dylan and blues greats like John Lee Hooker.

On the 40th anniversary of the Bluesbreakers' first US tour, this concert celebrates over 40 years of British blues and rock innovation.

Tickets are £30, £25 and £20
