sirmoonie I dig Izzy, and I love that song.

Why doesn't that guy, just get a band, write a bunch of songs, and be as cool as he should be?

I've talked a few times to his old bassist Jimmy Ashurst about that. He feels the same way. Like that Izzy kind of wasted an opportunity with the Ju Ju Hounds - where he could of really gone for it and kicked some ass but instead decide to be a hermit and make sloppy independent records and release them in Japan.

Izz had a lot of juice coming out of GNR and assembled a killer road tough band that could of been a real R&R force if he wanted to get behind it and promote it and tour heavy. He just doesnt want that life though. So... a great talent is just a hidden treasure for those of us that still bother to find his records and follow him.

but anyways.... good for him. And Shuffle It All is the best song Keith never wrote. Its Keef 101!

WOO HOO HOO!

Its the best song Keith Dylans never wrote.

Izzy, Slash, Duff, even Axl at times - the perfect storm of rock and roll - why god, why oh why god, why did you let this one die? Because of that Commandment stuff? The hips grinding in time? That was the damn negroes doing that stuff, you lame ass fucker. Bring the Gunners back!

Not black!

Shuffle It All kicks ass in a very hard way,and is full piss and vinegar swagger. For that matter that whole album kicks ass. Rick Richards formerly of the Georgia Sattelites was a friend of mine for years while I lived in Hotlanta working at Z-93 Classic Rock. I used to go see those cats all the time. To this day they are the best bar band I have ever seen bar none! They were better than the Crowes ever were in a bar setting by a long shot.

In Atlanta they were much more appreciated than the Crowes were as well, because people felt the Satts weren't a bunch of poseers. The Black Crowes kinda got that label applied to them by most of the hep cats of Hotlanta during the Crowes hey day. I always kinda felt bad for them for that, but the truth is that the Satts could play circles around them back then. I never once qwent to a Satts show where I diodn't leave drenched in sweat, and I saw them well over a hundred times before Keep Your Hands To Yourself came out.

FOTP you really need to expand your horrizons a little my friend. Izzy and the Hounds kick major ass,and while you are getting that record get the Georgia Sattelites disk as well just for good measure.
