will they send the invitations via mail to the stones fans?

or will be enough If I say at the front door that I'm voodoo's friend?

Anyway, see you there.

VoodooChileInWOnderl Yesterday I went to the airport for Baron Wolman and we had a nice ride and a long conversation until Chris Murray and friends arrived at the hotel.

Good news! Baron Wolman is going to give us some Nicky Hopkins unreleased pix from the Jeff Beck Group days with Ronnie Wood for our space for Nicky Hopkins which will be redone soon with some other great features.

The exhibition was great, I think also very professional. Of course having the book and some originals it was not a big big surprise, but seeing all those originals was like travelling across the time listening 40 licks also in the superb sound system of the Auditorio Nacional

The exhibition had for the first time 2002 photos, in this case all by Fernando. They were used as headers just some minutes after they were taken at the Veterans Stadium.

One photo that captured my attention as it is not in the book, not in the Baron Wolman website is one of Mick in Oakland 1978 with a Rolling Stones tongue, fantastic!!

No doubt about it, every picture tells a story… and yesterday a lot of stories got alive for more than 1,000 guests.

Chris Murray, a very nice person, the guy in charge of the tour was amazed about the organization and quality of the event. I met him last Tuesday at his arrival.

When I gave him my “Rocks Off deluxe biz card” with the Rocks Off collage yesterday, he immediately said I love it, this is great, he didn’t know I was the creator LOL, he reads Rocks Off. I also said that the very first news about the Govinda event was posted here, he said you’re kidding, but then he realized it was true.

Alex Lora and his wife Chela from el Tri, (the Mexican Rolling Stones since 1968 and my schoolmates in the elementary school) were the guests to open the the exhibit, he as Rogerriffin posted played a nice version of Paint it Black and Dead Flowers and also “Las Piedras Rodantes” (The Rolling Stones) a song composed by himself and is in Spanish and ADO an old song from the Three Souls in My Mind era, in which a portion of the lyrics says “no me consuela ni la mota, ni las pastas ni el alcohol” (Practice your Spanish LOL)

People from the TV, Radio, press, musicians and friends got together for a hot night about the Stones. The best stop for the 40x20 Exhibition according to Chris, Fernando and Baron.

What a pity the pictures by Ross Halfin are only portraits, he’s considered one of the best photographers for live action.

I think it’s also unfair that only 20 are there, I can’t figure out how they put Dominique Tarlé out and Kate Simon in, couldn’t ask Chris, but next time.

Also Lynn Goldsmith, Robert Altman, Jill Furmanovsky and specially Henry Diltz MUST BE THERE!

Next stop is not decided yet, but this exhibition will run until the last day of May
