Thanks for these photos--this is a great thread. Such memories. Isnt that "shared mic" shot on Exile with the bottle of JD just so quintessential for that album??
And yes, girls, this thread has put visions of my '70's orange bedroom collage back in my head. I am emarrassed to admit that I have started to print out some of my favorite images off the computer and tack them around in my study. How old am I again?! |

I have a picture of Mick on my wall at home. but heīs fully dressed in it, heīs got a suit on and heīs smiling. I love that pic, it makes me happy every time I see it, thatīs why I refuse to take it down. But a whole room....no thatīs too much! haha |

I'm afraid I'm quite remiss in my Stones photo duties.
Would ya believe that the only picture I have of the Stones is a Mankowitz print that I won in some contest on Martha's board. It's from the Primrose Hill '67 shots -- not the Between the Buttons cover, but a great shot. And I don't even have it displayed where you'd notice it much.
You wouldn't know I was a Stones fan if you walked in my house. 'cept for the big stained glass tongue mrs. nankerphelge made for me -- that kind stands out. When you hit the CD rack though, it is pretty obvious!!
