Topic: What songs can The Stones cover live??? Return to archive
10th March 2006 10:48 PM
Paranoid_Android Here's an interesting idea...please list 5 (five) songs you would like to hear the boys to play live...the songs can be so unlikely to be played...but should be interesting and something that they would do total justice to...

I asked my friend Richard and these are his 5...mine are to come tomorrow:

One after 909 (Beatles)
Respect ( Aretha )
You Really Got Me ( Kinks )
I Feel Good ( Brown )
Truckin' ( GD )

Lets play nice and not put folks down for their choices...OK?!?

Riffhard Cry,Cry,Cry-Johnny Cash
My Fault-The Faces
My Wife-The Who
Two Birds-Bob Marley
Rudie Can't Fail-The Clash

Not that they everwould but it would be cool to them cover these tunes! Great thread idea!

I always thought that Hot Legs would be a natural for the Stones to do.

glencar They would do the best live version of "Have A Nice Day!" yet! Even better(dare I say it?) than the beloved Block Crawes.
