GLIMTWIN |
The Stones should do an unplugged acoustic
show and tell stories of the past.
Call it the Stones "Memory Motel"
Invite old guest like Mick Taylor
Peter Tosh,Rod Stewart,Roger Daltrey
Paul Mcartney , Bowie, Clapton, Ozzie
tell stories from the past in between
playing..Angie, Memory Motel ,Dead Flowers
Winter,Paint it Black,Indian Girl,Waiting on a friend
Far Away Eyes , Sweet Virginia,Moonlight Mile
and so on what do you think? |

I like the idea of playing lots of those songs on an accoustic set.
But I'm not into the guest appearances. Maybe just former Stones (Taylor and Wyman) for some songs. |

Well,if their gonna invite Peter Tosh to join them, they may as well ask Brian Jones,Ian Stewart, and Nicky Hopkins while their at it.

Prodigal Son |
Stones unplugged? Hell yes. You could fit every song from their early blues days and Beggar's Banquet! Let's come up with fantasy sets:
-"Little Red Rooster."
-"Street Fighting Man"
-"Prodigal Son"
-No Expectations
-You Got the Silver (well, Keith prolly can't sing it very well anymore)
-Under My Thumb
-Paint it Black
-Till the Next Goodbye
-Sweet Virginia
-Let it Loose (acoustically, this would be brilliant)
-Turd on the Run
-Sister Morphine
-Play with Fire
-She's a Rainbow
-Memory Motel
-Far Away Eyes
-Parachute Woman
-Salt of the Earth
-Love in Vain
-Country Honk
-Blue Turns to Grey
-Out of Time
-a few more blues covers
-You Can't Always Get What You Want.
Maybe a bit long, but if rearranged accordingly it could be a great set. |
