Britons on Best-Dressed List
By Sherna Noah, PA Showbusiness Correspondent
British names Jude Law, Sienna Miller, Jemima Khan, Kate Moss and Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts have made it on to a list of the world’s best-dressed people.
The five Britons are in a list of 20 international stars, including Queen Rania of Jordan, Hollywood heart-throb George Clooney and US chat-show host Oprah Winfrey.
Hollywood star Law, 32, told Vanity Fair magazine, which compiled the top 20, that his signature look was “messy schoolteacher”.
Law’s 23-year-old fiancee Miller said of her style: “It’s always a little Gypsy-ish, but it fluctuates depending on my moods.”
The Alfie actress named the late musicians Jimi Hendrix and Jim Morrison as well as her husband-to-be as the most stylish men.
Ocean’s Twelve actor Clooney, 43, described his personal style as “classic, yet modern”, and said his signature look was “no tie, collar open, beautiful suit”.
Watts, 63, wears cuff links, and occasionally a silk pocket square.
Others names in the best-dressed women’s list, published in the April issue of Vanity Fair, include Lost in Translation director Sofia Coppola and OutKast singer Andre Benjamin.

I remember the first time Charlie came alone to Brazil on vacation, around 1978. He was pretty good. A journal from Rio de Janeiro took very pictures of Charlie details, like nails, shoes, watch, suit...He was really looking good on those years, much more like a mafia guy than a Stone.

look at that mug on the front cover of Black and Blue.
Most mafia hitmen would kill to be able to pull a facial expression as cold and chilling as that one! |
