I just got finished reading Sway, the Stones novel by Zachary Lazar. It was so good, I dropped everything and read it in one night.
It is fully as good as any "non-fiction novel" imaginings using historical figures by Norman Mailer or Don DiLillo. Who never wrote anything worthwhile about the Stones, anyway.
Also, it has genius-quality takes on Keith and Brian. Lazar's suggestion that Andrew kept Brian on partly b/c he was the straightest-looking member bears thinking about.
Beats the stuffing out of recent weak biographical rehashings such as Old Gods, Almost Dead (the title was the best part) and Greenfield's book on Exile.
It will rock your l'il world! Enjoy. I bet Mick likes it - he's so vain, he probably thinks...
It's the best Stones album since Talk is Cheap!
