Topic: Today's Header... Torino July 28, 1990 Return to archive
02-17-02 11:14 PM
VoodooChileInWOnderl The header we have today was provided by Chris Diemoz from Italy. He attended the show at the the Stadio Delle Alpi in Torino (Turin), Italy on July 28, 1990.

Some features of this show are:

1. This was the first show in Europe with the Steel Wheels stage. Only two subsequent shows in East Berlin and London saw the Stones using the "Steel Wheels" stage instead of the "Urban Jungle" stage for filming "At The Max"
2. The version of Brown Sugar on the Flashpoint albums comes from this show.
3. Five songs from this show are on the “At the Max” video: Sad Sad Sad, Rock And A Hard Place, Honky Tonk Women, Paint It Black, and 2000 Light Years From Home.
4. The Stones filmed scenes in the empty stadium for the "At The Max" movie
5. Chris first Stones show!

Thanks Chris! Send more!
