Sioux So, I'm in Kroger's today and I hear, quietly, over the piped in music system, "Tell Me", but it's not the Stones. It sounds like an old recording....does anyone here know who all covered this early Jagger/Richards tune?

Throwaway Though it leaves out many a versions, this site is still pretty useful - http://www.secondhandsongs.com/song/12589.

Sioux Thanks......maybe could have been the Dead Boys or the Henry Kaiser Band. Just seems like a REALLY obscure song and version to hear on a grocery store's piped in satellite radio station!

HouseboyKnows Graham Parker closed his shows with a nice Tell Me cover during his 2004 tour supporting the Your Country CD. It's available for download at his website.
