Okay, say that Keith Richard, sobered by the death of Brian Jones, decided to quit drinking, smoking and taking drugs.
He decided to become a healthy, long distance runner and adapt a healthy, low fat diet.
Picture him now looking the same as he did in 1969, the same full hair, trim chest and stomach, a healthy tan, a British thoroughbred.
Wouldn't you agree he would be playing and writing better music these days? |

If Keith turned into a long-distance-runner health-freak in 1969, then Jagger would have lived the "real" Keith-lifestyle - otherwise there wouldn't be any chemistry.

The band would have broken up after Mick did "Performance."
A super-healthy Keith would have been too much for Mick's ego to handle. |

Keith Richards is who he is, he wouldn't be the same as you describe, he's a Rock 'N' Roll Outlaw, being the way you described he wouldn't be writing those great songs & guitar riffs, instead he'd be more worried about this healthy, low fat diet, & running every day. |

Let's have him find God, too, and see what miserable dreck we get back for songs. No 1989 reunion. |

*lol* What kind of crack are you smoking?
Keith is Keith. Keith wouldn't be Keith If he hadn't had all this drug thing going on, and he wouldn't be Keith without all those beautiful wrinkles in his face today, either. And after all, while he was taking drugs he wrote the best music ever and although the 'golden era' of the Stones is probably long over, he still rocks and knows how to do it, don't ya think?
But I must come back for a little more,
