I'm certainly no big fan of McRINO, but there can be absolutly no doubt that this story is nothing but a blatant hit-piece against the presumed Republican nominee. I wonder what the NYT's motivation for this story is? Hmmmmm..... There is zero evidence to back any of this story up and all the key players have denied that there is any truth whatsoever to this story. It is almost entirely unsourced, and nowhere near verified! They even revisit the Keating Five scandal from damned near 20 years ago to throw mud at the GOP nominee. This is shameless even for the blatantly biased NYT! Typical, but shameless all the same.
Sirmoonie you're tongue in cheek allusion to Clinton is pretty funny too! I mean at least with good ol' Bubba there were women involved that were willing to testify under oath in various courts of law that he did exactly what he was accussed of doing. Bill Clinton had been showing clear signs of predatory sexual behaviour for years, nay decades prior to his little cigar fuck and blow job sessions with Monica.

Arizona is the most conservative state in the nation. You should go there and hear what its conservative citizens have to say about their much admired Senator.
That's on a national scale too. Until AM radio crossed you guys up a few months ago - for reasons I still cannot fathom, unless its to sell more tickets - I can't ever recall anyone impuging John McCain's motives, convictions, or sincerity in the ways so easily and justifiably done with politicians like Bill Clinton, John Kerry, Willard Romney, and George Walker Bush III.
Again, you should go hear what they say. Check out the Old Pueblo, its watershed of conservative conservatives, there are still pics of Goldwater in schools. See what they say about the principled way their Senator John McCain has applied his conservative beliefs. |

"I'm A Conservative"
I used to lead a quiet life
In fact it was a bare existence
I passed out on many floors
I don't do that any more
Hello my friends
Is everybody happy?
Hey look me over
Lend me an ear
I'm a conservative
I like the small black marks on my hands
I'm a conservative
I like the crazy girls that I screw
Hey I know them all well
And when I run out of bread I laugh
All the way to the bank
Sometimes I pause for a drink
Conservatism ain't no easy job
I smile in the mornings
I live without a care
Nothing is denied me
And nothing ever hurts
I got bored so I'm making my millions
When you're conservative you get a better break
You're always on the rigltt side
When you're conservative
You walk with pride
Pride is on your side
Pride pride pride
Is on our side
Oh boy
Pride is on our side
I like my beer
I like my bread
I love my girl
I love my head
I'm in the clear man
I'm in the dear
Because I'm a conservative
I'm a conservative
I really am
Ohyeslam
And it would mean so much to me
If you would only be like me
Yes it could mean so much to me
Hey look me over
Lend me an ear
I'm a conservative

I predict that Barry Goldwater would have predicted Bush Geekism and the demise of the conservative movement. I factually predict that if he were alive today, he would be sickened by the likes of George Walker Bush III and Willard Romney and their ilkhood.
And I'm damn glad John McCain is using sex as a political tool. I have e-mailed his campaign and suggested that he romp with Anne Coulter too. Get the AM crowd flipped around in a day or two, if that. |

I'm thinking there is a lot more than meets the eye about this story. My first one: Why this story was published in the NY Times (paper of record) and not the tabloids? Why was this story spiked in Dec and allowed to be published in Feb? The story is fishy all around. . . |

"During the 1988 presidential election, a number of false rumors were reported in the media about the Dukakises, including the claim by Idaho Republican Senator Steve Symms that Katherine Dukakis had burned an American flag to protest the Vietnam War, as well as the claim that Michael Dukakis had been treated for a mental illness. Republican strategist Lee Atwater was accused of having initiated these rumors." [1]-Wikepedia

The New York Times is now reporting it due to their leftist (anti-american)agenda. They wanted McCain to win the Rep nomination, and lose the the general election to whoever the leftist challenger would be. So now that McCain has the nomination in hand, they need to destory him.... The f'n media is pathetic, I thought they were supposed to be impartial/objective. Why the hell do media outlets endorse candidates??

Hey don't fall for the conventional wisdom narrative that the NYT only prints pieces favorable to the left. They did their hit piece on Obama in Oct. Read it yourself:
http://www.nytimes.com/2007/10/30/us/politics/30obama.html
Another NY Times "leftist", Maureen O'Dowd, has been ripping Obama regularly in her column in the Times as well. It ain't all black and white yo! |
