VoodooChileInWOnderl Ask Mick "Bunny" Jagger or if you are "medium" ask Brian Jones...

Now seriously, it's great! I remember when my wife was pregnant of Ana Lucía my first daughter that my sister-in-law told me "You're gonna grow up" and I was pissed telling her "So you consider myself immature?" and let me tell ya... when the day came and I had my first daughter I got a very special feeling... it's a great experience and yes, I grew up!

You're toooooo young, better wait a little, once your dad there ain't no reverse baby, your life is going to be focused on your kids, so you money and time

jb As a father of three(3) children ages 1, 10, and 13, I can tell you that your life is forever changed in the most wonderful way upon the birth of a child. You are no longer simply living your life, or being a partner with your wife/significant other; rather, you are now responsible for a precious gift from god that cannot survive without you. Like the child, this relationship grows as they do. All selfishness that you had in your youth is now replaced by a profound responsibility you joyfully undertake to ensure your children are safe, provided for, and loved. There is no better feeling in the world(even today, after being up all night with the little one, love makes your tiredness irrelevant). I wish you and yours all the best.

lotsajizz kids are great--except for those early teen years--hey, you can't let REO Speedwagon, Eagles, and rap fans do all the breedin' now....we owe it to future generations to have children raised in a cool musical sensability...do your DNA duty!!!

Lazy Bones Kids are great. I have 2 daughters - 8 and 6. But Voodoo is bang on, be certain because there ain't no turnin' back. Your life is forever changed. That's a good thing, but timing is everything.

pdog The change in perspective you have on life is not only the most intense, it's also the greatest experience I've ever had. It's an experience that lasts for a long time, and has hundreds of wonderful moments.
It's the best job, the hardest work, the most success you can ever have... It's also the only relationship you'll have that you give everything you can to it, and the end result is the person will leave you... And it's okay.

Chuck Nice post Pdog.

My son is autistic; so, unless some kind of miracle cure is found (which is highly unlikely), he and I are best buds for life!

Zack Ju, mon ami . . .

I have three, and I'll tell you the moment I saw my first something just hit me. What else is there to do in life? This is why we're here. I also lived in Africa, where I saw people with nothing, literally nothing, successfully raising kids, so for someone with a real job living in a socialist paradise, it will be a piece of cake.

One thing, though. You have to give up weed. One day I saw my two-year-old pick up the bong, then go for the dish and try to fill it! Quel horreur! I managed to hide it for a few more years, but ultimately it had to go.
