The artwork for all the '81 s/b's are gracously made by Drno from the tracklisting I send him...I got three at one time on Wednesday(both Pontiacs and New Orleans) and simply mixed up the tracklists...the fault completely lies with me! |

you are truly amazing !!!
concerning the french shows, there is another one that is pretty hard to find : VGP's 2nd upgraded release of Montpellier 1995.
If I make no mistake, the artwork is changed too compared to the 1st release and includes a picture of the Stones witha huge white dog...
Sorry ...I have never bought this one ....even if it has been upgraded the sound stays too crappy. Not worthy enough to waste my hard earned euros. |

Hi - Firstly a big thanks to Razorback for putting 'What Makes the World Goes Round' on the Tracker - I was one of those stranded on DIME.
Secondly, can anyone help me finish the VIDEO_TS file that's on the tracker 'the third show of the Stones "comeback" tour in 89'. I'm stuck at about 88%
Cheers |

Since the previous part of Bit Torrent thread was thrown into the archives, I will re-post my question again:
How is the sound quality of the following:
Rolling Stones
Fox Theater
Atlanta, Georgia
October 17, 1981
I think it was first seeded here, and it's now UP on DIME. It just says that it's a SBD, but I don't know how good it sounds, as I still don't have Hampton, I would like to know if this one sounds similar. Hampton sounds superb, what about this one?
Thanks
I would imagine the sound is fairly distant, since the band was in San Francisco that night, not Atlanta:

Yes - my thoughts too - as much as the post is done with the best of intentions - it is exactly the kind of thing that will get this amazing tracker shut done by the RS camp - they already know that the RO-tracker exists of course but let's not push it.
best

Well to answer the question though.I downloaded it and would rate it a 7.0 to perhaps 7.5....Historically a good grab but doubt I'll put it on my frequent playlist.Hope this helps JJF...And although its great we have such astute historians to correct dates etc...does it always have to be so sarcastic without helping the RO'er get the answer they seek?..... |

thanks to Shakedown and yourself for bringing this to our attention
That torrent has been removed
Whoever uploaded it doesnt even seem to have announced it on this thread, which is in itself a good enough reason for deleting it, let alone the fact that it pirates officially released material
