Hi
thanks kindly for this
is 12/1 posted somewhere? It was my first "official" stones show (my first unofficial ones were the 2 in Oshawa,Ontario in 1979 - Keith's CNIB benefit - w/"guests")
[Edited by shakedown]
Thanks - I see it now - time for the big flashback to that night - many kudos for this community and the tracker - hope to contribute very soon.

At least DAC's version of Syracuse ("Echoes Of Old Applause") are excellent audience and NOT soundboard.

If they ARE audience recordings then they are better than any I've ever heard before from that era...no talking or noise around the taper...either way they are great!
New Orleans 12-5-81 will go up as soon as the second Pontiac is uploaded...probably this evening! |

agree, but it does not feel sdb, if you compare this with the other sdb from 81 you will hear and feel the difference
but , you are correct that these 2 are superbly taped (when audience) i love them more then f.ex the Atlanta sdb..
New Orleans :-)
aaaaaaaaaaaaaargh, you are killing my..
can't wait to get home :-)
have a cool w-e you all

Thanks very much for the art, but you might want to listen to the FLACs before creating the artwork. The setlists provided in this thread often contain mistakes, and/or the way they're written doesn't match the FLAC files. The tracklist on the artwork for the November 30 show is way off:
"Take The A Train" and "Under My Thumb" are one track.
"Let It Bleed" is Disc 1, Track 14, not Disc 2, Track 1.
"Start Me Up" is listed before "Honky Tonk Women"; that song comes after "HTW" and "Brown Sugar".
There are only 11 tracks on Disc 2.
There are similar errors on the December 1 artwork - "Let It Bleed" is on Disc 1, not Disc 2, "Start Me Up" is in the wrong place, etc.
Here are the actual tracklists for those two FLAC sets:
November 30
Disc 1
01 Take The A Train / Under My Thumb
02 When The Whip Comes Down
03 Let's Spend The Night Together
04 Shattered

08 Twenty Flight Rock
09 Going To A Go Go
10 Let Me Go
11 Time Is On My Side

13 Waiting On A Friend
14 Let It Bleed
Disc 2

02 Little T & A
03 Tumbling Dice
04 She's So Cold
05 Hang Fire
06 Miss You
07 Honky Tonk Women
08 Brown Sugar
08 Start Me Up
10 Jumping Jack Flash

you are truly amazing !!!
concerning the french shows, there is another one that is pretty hard to find : VGP's 2nd upgraded release of Montpellier 1995.
If I make no mistake, the artwork is changed too compared to the 1st release and includes a picture of the Stones witha huge white dog... |

Thanks for providing the tracklists. I rely on these ones now, cause I didn`t have the time to burn and listen to those shows. So I made new backcovers and loaded them up. Hope you did your work without mistakes :-)
Cause only those who make something, can make mistakes ;-)
Sorry to all for the inconvinience.
