Nasty Habits GENUINE Estonian 80s commercial madness with a very hilarious and somewhat familiar soundtrack.

I love the Hendrix clip. Great example of how Jimi would guide the band with a head nod. His playing at Wight was often beautiful yet he simultaneously seemed detached. Spooky effect.

19th December 2006 09:36 AM
Nellcote Yes sir. With every passing day, the genius of the short time Hendrix was on the scene is greater appreciated.

Nasty Habits Speaking of genius - Roger Miller on the BIG TNT Show.

Featuring the world's strangest go-go dance . . .

19th December 2006 10:01 AM
Nellcote Is that the early Jane Fonda workout vid?

Here's a peer of Roger's who is singing about the Lake Geneva shoreline....

Nellcote While I like Modern Times enough, this is a cut from my LP of the year. This is from a BBC special, filmed in a church, back in May of this year....

22nd December 2006 08:38 AM
Nellcote Just can't resist, this is great Friday music...
Stick with me, no matter what they say...

22nd December 2006 10:44 AM
Nasty Habits BH - that whole TNT show performance by Roger Miller is cool as hell - the England Swings clip lacks his oddball fingerpicking, which is on some of the other performances. Don't know that there's much Miller out there at all . . .

Moonalot - Great Gorillaz! Great records. Great video.

Nellcote - love the first J. Geils album so much . . . original version by the Valentinos, who also did original of It's All Over Now . . . Love the Old Grey Whistle Test, too - my all time fave performance from that show is this . . .

22nd December 2006 11:26 AM
Nellcote Nasty, that LP was the 1st ever lp I purchased.
At a head shop in my hometown back in the day called
Buddah's Bazzar. I still listen to it often.
Wolf was a DJ before this, as you may know.
He used to play many of the songs which they went
on to record...
