seriously? I'm amazed.

Lenny's fuckin' great. He has the reputation for being maudlin and depressing, but I think he's funny and cool as hell, an incredible lyricist - and anyone who refers to Dylan as "The Picasso of Song" is Ok by me.

Here's some more :

"Who By Fire" with some help by Sonny Rollins and WasNotWas from "Night Music" in the late 80's

The video for "Closing Time"

One of my favourite songs. "The Partisan" - live from '88. Picture quality a bit fuzzy, but a great performance.

and the video for "First we Take Manhattan"

Yea, Meg, there's not much Cohen footage around!
I think the only official DVD is "Ladies And Gentlemen..Mr Leonard Cohen", which contains some interviews and poems from the 60s. But, I heard that there was a new DVD released this month, "I'm Your Man", but maybe it's a tribute DVD, I have to check it up.
I never got a real hang of his 1st "big" book Beautiful Loosers, it's too complicated, just like Tarantula, the Dylan book

I forgot to add that he got to shag Rebecca de Mornay on a regular basis in the early 90's for a few years even though she was 25 years younger than him and one of the hottest Hollywood bints around at the time. The saucy old goat.

"Comfortably Numb"

From Roger Waters' fantastic presentation of "The Wall" in Berlin 1990. Solos by Snowy White (ex-Thin Lizzy), backing vocals by The Band and others and an absolutely rip-roaring, show-stealing vocal by Van The Man....

No wonder Scorsese used THIS version for "The Departed".

Bint
A slang word in the United Kingdom, and Ireland, a derogatory term for a woman. Usage varies with a range of harshness from 'bitch', referring to a disagreeable and domineering woman, to only a slightly derogatory term for a young woman.

Gormless
gorm·less (gôrmls)
adj. Chiefly British
Lacking intelligence and vitality; dull.

ThesaurusLegend:
1. gormless - British informal
stupid - lacking or marked by lack of intellectual acuity

Aw, moonie, you've gotta hear "Songs of Leonard Cohen" (his first, I believe, and his best). Good stuff. No...GREAT stuff.
There aren't any decent vids from this album on YouTube, so here are links were you can download three of the songs:
So Long Marianne
Hey That's No Way To Say Goodbye
