Me too re: It's Hard. Side one much better than side 2. Freshman year of college. Athena playing in the dorms. Camping for tickets, crashing at Univ of Md. First show of the tour at Cap Center on Sept 22. Serious good memories connected with that album.
It actually got very positive reviews at the time. Daltrey hates it though, passionately. |

The real best you've got to compile yourself
Lifehouse - The Who
1. Baba O'Riley
2. Goin' Mobile
3. Time is Passing
4. Love Ain't For Keeping
5. Bargain
6. Too Much of Anything
7. Behind Blue Eyes
8. I Don't Know Myself
9. Put the Money Down
10. Pure and Easy
11. Getting in Tune
12. Let's See Action
13. Relay
14. Join Together
15. Water
16. Won't Get Fooled Again
17. Song is Over
Track order from Pete's demos. It's a crime to omit Naked Eye but there's no room on one CD. The song also predated Lifehouse by more than a year (though it well may have been included). Unfortunately no Who version of Greyhound Girl and Mary exist, though the band did cut at least one of them. The master was damaged.

I've enjoyed the Who Are You album quite a bit, the title track is timeless, and John's "Trick Of The Light" and "Had Enough" are great as well. "Guitar And Pen" was a concert highlight in 78-79. |

Not sure. Since there was no demo, it didn't make the Lifehouse Chronicles box.
It's a bonus track on the first remastered Who's Next though, which might indicate it was to be included.
Bruno, Tattoo was originally on Sell Out |

Some of their best songs never made it on a proper studio album like "Relay", "Long Live Rock", "I Can't Explain", "Join Together", "Magic Bus", etc. |

Quadrophenia for me. Lots of high school hours spent cruising around listening to the 8 track. And the songs sounded just as good in '02. "5:15", "Sea and Sand"...every second of this double album is fantastic, and it hasn't been played to death like Who's Next.
After that, Pete started thinking too damn much. |
