time is on my side 51

Back in my day, you paid $15 for Mexican, $20-25 for Jamaican depending on the quality, and Columbian would range anywhere from $25-35 (the good redbud was normally in the $30-35 range)

Home grown was kind of looked down upon back then and occasionlly every now & then you would have something come along that you would have to pay $40 plus for (things like Acapulco Gold or Panama Red though some said it just some real kick ass redbud)

Yeah, them were the days

Lucy_Bandersnatch Back in the day 1 finger's worth was $10 and a 3 finger bag was $30. Try $480 an oz now for "Train Wreck" or comparable. Some recent blonde hash was $400 an oz but that's not in the form of a complaint because of the quality. I HIGHLY recommend getting a volcano for taste as well as the high.

I forgot how old I was in my forties (true story) and it worked so well I haven't decided how old I'll be this year.

StickyFishFingers 35 going on 15.

I used to go halves with my mates for ounces of purple heads for $200 - $250. Thai buddha sticks was the 1st serious smoke i had at 17 yrs old, a really small foil of that would sell for around $25 even back then in the late 80s. These days i prefer a home grown bush weed. I'm not that big a smoker anymore and the Hydro weed to me tastes like inhaling insect repellent.

I have the exact same memories of weed and prices back in the day. :-)

I am 48.

I only feel 148.

Indeed.

star star 18. Boy do you guys in america suffer from high rates for an ounce of weed!
23rd February 2006 10:25 AM
Gazza first ounce I bought was (I think) £25 (more worryingly, beer was about 40p a pint when I was 15!)

I am now 42 - the same age that Elvis was when he went "hard as a carp" - which is a bit worrying as my weight seems to be going in a similar direction as his did!

Nellcote I am currently in my 48th year.
I have executed a non disclosure agreement of activities in my life from ages 12-21, as discussion of said activities could incriminate the currently innocent of individuals, or corrupt the youth which reside in my domicile, as well as millions of individuals whom I have contact with.
These activities currently reside with those whom were associated with myself at that time, many of which are now looking down at me from above, as well as within my mind, which yearns for those thrilling days of yesteryear.
Having said this, every now and then, I have a look from beyond this agreement, to once again consider the items which I used to engage in.....

Jerry in Boston 40

I remember:
- Midnight Special
- Don Kirschner's Rock Concert
- Dick Clark's In Concert (barely)
- Needle noise
- Big record covers

- Cars jacked up in the back

- Tight polyester shirts with big ugly prints on em
- Big lapels and fat ties
- Satin jackets and roller skates
- The Love Boat was fun family entertainment
- When the Rolling Stones came to town it was like the second coming of jesus.... and cost as much!

I don't remember:
- the cost of weed cuz my dad would have killed me twice if I had ever even smelled of it upon entering his home.
