sirmoonie Congress to investigate use of Viagra and breast implants in the pornography industry. And fuel additivives and overinflated tires in NASCAR.

I really don't get it, why is Congress investigating baseball. I get investigating perjury before Congress, but why investigate baseball at all? If the whole professional league was threatened with financial ruin, it would possibly be understandable, but why check this flare-up? I really don't get it, so it would be cool is if someone clued me in. I searched around and didn't find any answers.
