Jagger ... festival vow

MICK JAGGER has promised the ROLLING STONES will headline the Glastonbury Festival in 2003.

The singer made the vow to organiser Michael Eavis after failing to secure a solo spot at this year's event because the line-up was complete.

The Somerset festival is becoming a mecca for veteran rock acts.

DAVID BOWIE headlined two years ago and BOB DYLAN played in 1998. ROD STEWART and PINK FLOYD are appearing at this year's festival, which runs from June 28-30.

Others said to be booked include GORILLAZ, STARSAILOR, BLUR, PULP, THE STROKES and STEREOPHONICS.
