L&A I had a dream last night: Rick Rubin was producing the next Rolling Stones record (no, not that commercial box with old stuff...).
In my opinion, I thing he's the best world-wide producer of the last 10 years. Here's a list of some references: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Beastie Boys, Tom Petty, Run D-M-C, Public Enemy, Henri Rollins, Johnny Cash, Kula Shaker, Slayer, Chris Cornell, Nusrat Ali Khan, Macy Gray, ... and of course, the best solo album of Mr Mick, and many others ! In short, all the best we can hear when (sometimes) we don't listen to Exile or Beggars Banquet.
What do you think ? Maybe we can set up a petition ?

moy the first idea (new material) is good but please put don was back, not rick rubin

if you send a letter signed by 100,000 different fans it won't change anything, that's not the way the music biz works

hayo Let's give Rick Rubin the job. He did magic with Mick Jagger's Wandering Spirit,
He also did a wonderful job with artists as J.Cash, Chilli Peppers, and many more.
With Rick Rubin in the team the chances of a great record will defenitly improve.

The hit counter of the ITW board had 1,127,645 hits when it was closed and the Coolboard didn't have hit counter but was on line only two months and a half.
