The Latest Anti-Nashville Hero: My Brother Thomas
From my brother, Tom:
Rocks Off Members --
You've seen this horrible video for a song called "I Love Nebraska,"
right? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P7bzaD6G4vE
And probably heard the NPR story on the debate to make it the new
official state song, right?
http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=7085644
Clearly, something had to be done. So I created a parody version,
mocking the original, and posted my version to YouTube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=askhFEpkl24
If you'd like, feel free to send it to your friends.
Nebraska love,
Thomas

Thanks Barn. Email sent.
I enjoyed that related story about Lawrence Welk and the Wrigley Hotsy Totsy Boys from Chicago playing Broken Bow back in the '30's. It sounds like they had a hell of night. Dancing 'till 4 and then Welk putting on a an apron and cooking breakfast over at the diner. Good times. |
