jpenn11 Anyone recall the name of the Stones tribute album in which well known blues artists played Stones songs? Was it any good?

Ten Thousand Motels I never paid much attention to them. Always seemed kind of corny to me. There's not much to say now, as SS summed it all up quite eloquently.

voodoopug "How many Stones tribute bands are there?"

I play in The Voodoo Pugs stones tribute, www.geocities.com/thevoodoopugs and i would safely say there are hundreds of stones tribute bands out there and would not be surprised if there were a 1000 worldwide stones tribute shows. Fact is, its fun music to play and the people that enjoy our band already have something in common with us, they must be stones fans.

We always add our own licks to each song to give them a little bit of our flavor, but it is cool to see someone who is talented enough to replicate an early 70's Taylor Riff
