jean-pierre, funny you should mention that. My friend who runs the Faces website refers to 'Bump In The Night' as "the best Faces album that was never released." I only have one vinyl copy that I had to special order back in the 80s. It was not a wide release at the time, and it's pretty rare. I always worry that I'm wearing out my only copy, so I'm just thrilled about the CD release. |

Thanks Voodoo! Mac shipped the CDs out Thursday, so you should be getting it sometime soon. We're having a major snow storm here and expect over 20 inches! I hope the mailman makes it here with my 'Bump' CD. I emailed Mac today about putting audio samples of 'Bump' on Macspages.com I've gotten several requests for that. I'll keep you posted for sure. Also, we have a Faces Fan Forum ready to go online soon and I'll announce that shortly as well.

IAN MCLAGAN'S MAILING LIST - UPDATE!
After a good many enquiries I've released my 1981 album 'Bump In The Night' on CD for the first time, and it's available only on my site and at Bump Band gigs. Signed personally, it costs $18 in the USA & Canada, and $22 for everywhere else, shipping and handling included.
My new CD 'Rise & Shine!' will be released in the Summer. The Bump Band will tour the US, UK, Ireland and Europe to promote them both. I hope to 'bump' into you on the road.
The Faces 4 CD box set 'Five Guys Walk Into A Bar...' containing every A side and B side that we ever recorded and many live and radio performances, plus umpteen unheard tracks will be released in June. Don't hold your breath for a Faces tour.
The Small Faces CD 'Odds And Mods' is available on the site, but for the first time ever a 2 CD box set of the combined Decca and Immediate recordings will be released in the UK in May. Unfortunately no US release is planned as Charly Records hold the rights to the Immediate tracks. No reunion planned here either. It's 'All Or Nothing' I'm afraid.
