What record should I play? Mood Changers. I wanna feel good....spent too much time feeling bad all week.
Who?
I'm tired.
This was a rough week....after Super bowl Sunday....after shoveling snow for two days straight.
I don't believe what Neil Young said. Music can change the world, at least mine....at least for tonight.
TIA

I can feel at a lot of times the way the way you feel, what Neil young said was music can't change the world anymore in this day & age, I suggest if you're drunk, to play past music that made you feel good, I play a lot of Stones, but I also play a lot of my favorites from the 60's & 70's, just whatever turns you on.

Not yet .... Just getting started....so I will get there.

I try to that everyday....and I do.

Me too. Always have. I'm a feel good person.

Hey. I can understand why Neil might feel depressed....but WTF...it's the same as it always was. He'll modulate and come back cranking.

The Arrow And The Song
Poem lyrics of The Arrow And The Song
by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.
I shot an arrow into the air,
It fell to earth, I knew not where;
For, so swiftly it flew, the sight
Could not follow it in its flight.
I breathed a song into the air,
It fell to earth, I knew not where;
For who has sight so keen and strong,
That it can follow the flight of song?
Long, long afterward, in an oak
I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end,
I found again in the heart of a friend.

You say you're in a rock and roll mood and then quote Longfellow?
I am not seeing the rock and roll connection here? Must be a Maine thing I guess.

Well I was thinking along the lines of Elvis. You know shooting an arrow. Into the air. Rock n Roll being the arrow...blah bla bla. The connection should be obvious.

It may be obvious to you, but I'm not sitting in the deep woods of Maine drinking. So, you know, I kinda thought it was some kinda drunken Maine cabin fever kinda sitch.
It's all rock and roll when ya get right down to it anyway.

Well it might be....to a certain point. I don't think Longfellow was in his right mind when he penned those lines. He was probably drunk. Like desperate....shooting the last flare off the Titatnic. Desparate men do desparate things. And the lines survive.
