Kinda, I think. Mommy "arranged" that marriage, didn't she? Also, I wonder if Charles and Camilla are shacking-up somewhere....or if they're just "dating"..

TTM, they are currently shacking up. And he had to marry the dead blonde because she was a virgin from a titled family. Weird shit, huh? |

And he's going to be the head of the Church of England?????
Well I guess those guys were always fornicators anyway so at least he's staying true to his bloodline.

yeah....and the King of Australia!!
if one thing comes out of this down here it will be a renewed interest in and enthusiasm for the Australian Republican Movement...which will still be bitterly opposed by many (but perhaps now a minority)
funny but down here even die hard monarchists are shaking their heads saying it is totally unacceptable |

Well, maybe not yet. They'll be giving Camilla a makeoever soon. Once the theater hacks get on the job and the PR machine goes into full gear, she'll be accepted. It's fun to watch these puppet shows once in awhile.

well fun for you - these people still have a place in our Constitutional set-up albeit very much figure head stuff these days
actually republicans are in the majority down here - it's just they can't agree on what kind of republican system
half go on about direct election of the head of state (cf the USA) - others want more minimalist change i.e. head of state appointed by Prime Minister and his cabinet - which is the way our Governor-General (the Queeens representative) is appointed
thing is our constitutional monarchy system works very well but the continued ties to a monarch the other side of the world who has no practical impact on our way of life seems bizzare to say the least |
