mabbs Hello!

Yesterday i cranked up Too Tight from Bridges To Babylon on my stereo while taking the dishes... Man, it rocks! I hope if there is a new album coming up, it`ll have a couple of tracks of that standard!!!

Thats my opinion... What do you think?
02-10-04 07:56 AM
montana oh yeah!! I agree, i love it! and SURE IT ROCKS!!!! i think stones should have played this one during BTB! or LICKS...at least once
02-10-04 07:57 AM
Jumacfly I agree, great rocker!!
02-10-04 08:24 AM
nankerphelge And, for the record, a Stones song that actually has the word "sheep" in it!

02-10-04 09:49 AM
jpenn11 Maybe it's a running theme:

Give me truth now
Don't want no sham
I'd be hung drawn and quartered for a sheep just as well as a lamb
Stuck between a rock
And a hard place

(Oh _that_ rock and hard place)
02-10-04 10:03 AM
nankerphelge Surprisingly, for all the animals listed in Terrifying -- there is no sheep!

Sheep usually keep their wild passionate side in check!

glencar Where oh where did my Lambchop go?
02-10-04 02:36 PM
Gazza same place as Dande* as they were one and the same,I'm afraid

best part of Too Tight:

right after "come on now, & loose'n up"...
Keith's licks when they hit that first Chorus.
it is a wicked open G moment. some of the best latter day work, hands down.

mind you, there are some sweet chops in Don't Stop.

Zack A sheepshank, as a knot, does not count as being a sheep reference.

What about "softer than a baby lamb" from Complicated?

Bona fide sheep reference?
02-11-04 07:48 AM
Lazy Bones Great song, indeed. Too bad they've never played it live!
02-11-04 11:12 AM
nankerphelge You know what the sheepshank knot is used for doncha???

For those nites where she won't hold still!!

Damn well is a sheep reference!!

Squirmy lil devils!

Joey " Sheep usually keep their wild passionate side in check!"

Sheep are cute , some are quite beautiful , and so very demure . Couple that with their air of aristocracy and inner self confidence and I am in love .

Bought a " Salt Lick " for mine last evening ...................................and you ?!?!?!?!

" Where's my I.P.S. Ronnie ? "

Jercee !

was it ronnie?
02-12-04 10:59 PM
glencar Either Ronnie or that Pierre guy!
02-13-04 02:41 PM
sandrew That was clearly a Keith solo. Ronnie has not recorded a guitar solo on a Rolling Stones record in 10 years.
