I think we should be more objective... In other words, I don't think you needed to add that "almost" Mercury was an exceptional, tireless and amazingly interesting performer, and I've even heard (dare I say) people saying he was better than Jagger.

It's stupid to get into comparisons, but as much as we love the Stones, I think it's good to acknowledge other bands as well - occassionaly But then again it's a matter of peronal taste, alright.
