Sir Stonesalot How can you have a Rockabilly thread on PAGE TWO and have had NO MENTION of HASIL ADKINS???? For shame.

Also, check out these crazy ass fuckers too...

Malcolm Yelvington
Warren Smith
Sonny Burgess
Billy Lee Riley
Reverend Horton Heat

And if you don't own any Johnny Burnette & the Rock n Roll Trio....you're collection ain't shit. Not the Johnny Burnette pop idol crap from the 60's...the good stuff was all with the Rock n Roll Trio in the 50's. Train Kept-a-Rollin' and Tear It Up are a couple of my faves...

Sir Stonesalot >said the dude on tambourines...<

Gyps...I'm not in the mood. Normally I'd spar with you, but it's been ugly tonight at work. 3 dead and we are only half way through the shift.

So go ahead and have your fun, but you'll do it without me. I just don't have it in me tonight.

God, I don't miss the ER, SS. I really don't. I did for the first year...and now I don't think I could handle it. I'm sorry. Hope it slows down, babe.
No wonder I used to numb myself with cocaine.

OK. I'm sad but why bring it here? That's what they pay you for isn't it? That's your stress. Deal with it or find a new job. We don't need to know.

He was actually addressing me, as I am also a healthcare professional.

Scary thought, ain't it?

OK.
Everyone needs to blow off steam. But you're right he is a professional. I'm glad its not me. I couldn't do it.

Sir Stonesalot I wasn't talking to you BSS. I was talking to Gypsy.

And to REALLY piss you off...

We just got a crash. Air Evac for 4. 1 DRT(Dead Right There).

So that's 4 dead now, and I highly doubt that 2 of the 4 we flew are gonna make it. That, my dear, is the wrong kind of six pack for me....

Fuck me. I think I'll stop for a pint of Jack Daniels on the way home.

Pardon my black sense of humor. In this line of work, that is one of our main defense systems. It's either laugh or cry. If I cry, I'd probably never stop. So laugh it is...

Lol, doesn't that belong on the Ringo thread? Funny that Mal Evans swims with those big, thick glasses on his head.

Loved Del Shannon. That was my favorite song back in '61. And that crazy instrument--the precursor to the theramin. Carl, Del, Dick Dale, Stevie Ray, Roy Orbison....all gone now.

I loved Keith's rockabilly guitar sounds (that echoey clickety-clack) he was experimenting with '78--'81 such as the studio 'Let Me Go' or 'Summer Romance' or 'Little T & A'

I thought those were dub experiments.
