Does anyone know the original song? It's by Buddy Holly right? Did the Stones play it only at El Mocambo 77? Because it'a such a beatiful tune.
Was "Learning the Game" ever officially recorded by Keef? Is there a video about that one? I love song. |

when i was a competitive rock rlimber i won a national championship to the tune..'crackin up'
we were allowed to plat 2 songs and that was my first one. the second song was called 'paid in full' off the colors movie soundtrack.
i am not sure if it is a buddy holly song or not, but someone here should know the answer.
the smoking version of cracking up is on the live record...love you live.
i have never heard the song learning the game but i think keith sang this at one of the texas show last fall. perhaps they will put it on a dvd or the upcoming documentary |

Yes, McDaniel is his real name. It's on the songwriting credits. |
