thanks pdog for posting the video in this topic...

i don't know if it's real or not... somebody emailed me this link with the words: NEW Stones promo...

maybe it's a tv commercial promo or something, it looks like a very cheap movie maker project....

but it's an awesome video, cool remix of gimme shelter!\

Stones I think they want that $500,000,000 gross so no one can ever beat the record..

Angiegirl Looks very homemade to me. Nice, but nothing official imo.

Gazza If they did anything like that to Gimme Shelter, I'd stay at home in protest!

Sacrilege!

Saint Sway they shouldnt use a song they have no intention of playing live
9th February 2007 01:52 PM
Gazza Anything off A Bigger Bang would have worked, then....

polytoxic That's homemade. That version of Gimme Shelter is the "Streetlab Mix", done by a couple of dudes from Brooklyn, which basically involves looping the intro and discovering the bass and treble knob on the stereo.

More info here in case anyone cares:

As one comment on the site says: "I gotta give it a big fat meh. These are beats the Chemical Brothers would have thrown out ten years ago"

Saint Sway the lack of mention about Student Discounts was the obvious tip-off that it wasnt an Official release

Some Guy I hate the version of that song with every fiber of my being!
