Corrs concert's glittering cast

Bono and Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood were amongst the glittering guests
who joined The Corrs for a special live concert recording, in Bray last
weekend.

The U2 frontman duetted with Dundalk's fines tin the performance, which
was filmed at Bray's Ardmore Studios for an upcoming St. Patrick's Day
television broadcast in the United States.

The Corrs, who previously shot a concert film for the MTV 'Unplugged' series
at the Bray facility returned last Friday to perform for the music channel VHI
on one of the studio's film stages.

It was a strickly invitation only affair, with family, friends, and a fair share of
luminaries descending on Bray for the occasion.

During the concert U2's Bono joined Andrea Corr for a duet of Nancy
Sinatra's Summer Wine and a performancfe of Ryan Adams 'When the Stars
Go Blue', while Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood joined the band on stage to play
guitar on their version of Jimi Hendrix 'Little Wing'.

The band were accompanied by a complete orchestra for the performance,
from which a live in concert album and DVD release have not been ruled out.

Ronnie Wood also re-appeared on stage as the group encored with The
Rolling Stones hit 'Ruby Tuesday'.

The performance is to be billed as 'The Corrs - Live in Dublin', even though
the Corr siblings Andrea, Caroline, Sharon and Jim in fact recorded the show
in The Garden County.
